Ferndale House has a team of dentists committed to enhancing every aspect of your oral health.

Picture of David FearnDavid Fearn B.D.S. (Lond.), GDC reg. No. 61852, qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1986 and has worked extensively in General Practice. He set up Ferndale House Dental Practice in 1993. He is interested in all aspects of dentistry and is committed to continued post-graduate education.

Picture of Victor ChanVictor Chan B.D.S. (Lond.), GDC reg. No. 81100, qualified from Guy's hospital in 2002, where he went straight into General Practice. Since then, he has developed a keen interest particularly in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry, and continues to update and improve his skills in all areas of General dentistry.

Picture of Veeren GuptaVeeren Gupta B.D.S. (Lond) M.J.D.F. R.C.S. (Eng) GDC reg No. 193197 graduated from King's College London. He worked at Ferndale House before working in various hospitals gaining further experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and complex Restorative dentistry. With a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry he also provides aesthetic orthodontics such as Six Month Smiles . Being a strong believer in continuing professional development, he has also completed his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.

Picture of Basia MielnikBasia Mielnik B.D.S. (hons) (Lond.), GDC reg. No. 61816, also qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1986 and, after a short spell in hospital dentistry, went on to work in General Practice. She set up Ferndale House Dental Practice together with David and now works part-time in practice and the rest of the time looking after their family.

Picture of Pauline ChristyPauline Christy GDC reg. No. 174703, trained at King's College London in Dental Hygiene & Therapy and has been working at Ferndale House since March 2010.  She also works at King's Dental Institute as clinical and academic tutor, teaching hygiene and paediatric dentistry. At Ferndale House she treats periodontal disease (gum disease), focusing on prevention, providing personalised oral hygiene regimes alongside diet and smoking cessation advice. Pauline is committed to continually updating her skills and knowledge, she has a special interest in treating nervous patients and improving oral health.

 

The team are complemented by the receptionists and nursing staff. The receptionists are able to help you with all your enquiries, while the nursing staff are highly trained to assist the dentist in the surgery.

All the dental team adhere to the General Dental Council's standards for dental professionals.
